Huaraz 5 days / 4 nights

DAY 01: HUARAZ IN /CITY TOUR / MONTERREY HOTSPRINGS

Reception and transfer to hotel. City tour by the city of Huaraz, visit the Temple of Lord de la Soledad, Jose Olaya typical street, the trout farm, overlooking the city and the hot springs of Monterrey where we enjoy a relaxing dip in the pool. Overnight in Huaraz

DAY 02: CALLEJON DE HUAYLAS / LLANGANUCO LAGOON

Tour the Callejon de Huaylas, formed by white and black mountains, visiting the beautiful villages of Anta, Mark, Carhuaz (where we will enjoy the fruit ice cream), Cemetery of Yungay, following a short 26km road. We arrive at the Llanganuco Lagoon (Chinacocha), a beautiful blue lagoon with cold water. Returning we will observe the flora and fauna. Lunch in Caraz. We visit the town ofTarica and demonstration of pottery making. Return to Huaraz. Overnight in Huaraz.

DAY 03: QUEROCOCHA LAGOON / CHAVIN DE HUANTAR

Departure for the excursion. Culture and recreation in the “Conchucos Alley”. The tour will start with the towns of Recuay, Ticapampa, Catac, Querococha Lagoon, where the geological fault is observed. We continue along the creek cross the “Cordillera Blanca”, the Cahuish tunnel, the highest in the world with a length of 480 meters in length. We visit the villages of Kercos and the modern town of Chavin, which is located on the banks of the river Mosna, to arrive at theceremonial center of Chavin, the cradle of Andean civilization, the oldest stone structure of Peruvian culture (200 BC ), inside the imposing temple, we find the monolithic Lanzon of Chavin. The Temple is decorated with the famous tenon Heads. Also this temple is the place where the Tello Obelisk and Stela Raimondi (which have anthropozooform representations) were found. Lunch at Chavin. Return to Huaraz. Overnight in Huaraz.

DAY 04: HONCOPAMPA ARCHAEOLOGICAL SITE / CHANCOS HOT SPRINGS

Honcopampa Tour: Visiting the villages Pariahuanca, textile mills in the community of San Miguel de Aco, Pampa Maca, where we can appreciate the textiles of the Andean region, HuascaranMountain viewpoint, Cordillera Negra (Black Range) and Cordillera Blanca (White Range),Honcopampa archaeological ruins. We will walk about 25 minutes to Honcopampa falls (YuracYacu Falls). We visit the Chancos Hotsprings. Overnight in Huaraz.

DAY 05: PASTORURI GLACIAR / PUYA RAIMONDI / HUARAZ OUT

Departure to the Nevado de Pastoruri. This an adventure tour. We will visit the towns of the valley. the grotto of St. Patrick, Ticapampa, Catac, Patococha Lagoon and the highest exponent of theAndean flora “the Puya Raimondi” (the most beautiful example of high Andean flora). We will visit the Pumashimin spring (Lagoon of various colors) and rock art in its rocky walls to finally make a brief walk and reach the majestic Pastoruri Glaciar, in order to fully appreciate and experience its glacial formations. We will make an

unforgettable walk in the snow and play in the natural slides on the ice. Transfer to the bus agency.
