Enjoy the flight of condors and the beautiful Colca Canyon, City of Arequipa, Titicaca Lake and Cusco.

DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN LIMA PERU

Upon arrival at the International Airport in Lima, you’ll enjoy a warm reception and transfer to your hotel.

Day tour: 2.00pm to 6.00pm, Half-day Lima City Tour. In the historic district, you will see the Main Square, surrounded by the Cathedral and the Government Palace, and the Monastery of San Francisco. The tour continues through the residential areas of Lima and ends in the modern district of Miraflores on the Pacific.

DAY 2: ARRIVE IN CUZCO & CUZCO CITY TOUR. (B)

Breakfast, you’ll bet transferred to the airport for your departure to Cuzco (domestic airfare between Lima and Cuzco is not included in price). Upon arrival, you’ll be welcomed with a coca infusion tea (“mate de coca”) that will help you to get used to the altitude. Enjoy the rest of the morning at your leisure.

In the afternoon, we will pick you up to take you on a Cuzco city tour, to see the important buildings and ruins in and around Cuzco. Start in the Plaza de Armas, where the Cathedral, also visit the Church of Santo Domingo, which was built on top of Korikancha, the Inca Temple of the Sun. After that we will continue the trip to ruins of Sacsayhuamán, Tambomach’ay and Q’enqo in the outskirts of the city. Visit these ruins in the late afternoon, and enjoy panoramic views of Cuzco.

DAY 3. SACRED RIVER AND VALLEY OF THE INCAS. (B.L)

Breakfast. Early in the morning we pick you up from the hotel to venture into the Urubamba Valley, known commonly as the Sacred Valley of the Incas. The treasured traditions of the Andes are alive and well in the town of Pisaq where the colors of the market show the best of the souvenirs of all Cusco. We will continue the trip to one of the best restaurants of the Sacred Valley, “Tunupa” restaurant, for a buffet lunch. Continue the trip to the Inca Fortress and citadel of Ollantaytambo which were built to guard the entrance to the Sacred Valley and to protect the opening from possible invasion from tribes, and eventually the Spanish. DAY 4: MACHUPICCHU FULL DAY TOUR. (B)

Early in the morning, take the hour and a half train journey to the town of Aguas Calientes. Upon arrival to Aguas Calientes you will be welcomed by our transfer. You’ll take the bus up to the mountain of Machu Picchu. Once you’ve entered the citadel, you can walk along the terrace, steps, ceremonial centers and housing. According to locals, this area is a concentration of energy due to the composition of quartz found in the stones. After free time for lunch, return by shuttle bus to Aguas Calientes. Rest, relax, or shop in town before returning to Cuzco by train in the afternoon. At the Cuzco train station, you’ll be transferred to your hotel to rest for the night.

DAY 5: BUS TRANSFER CUZCO TO PUNO. (B.L)

Early breakfast and travel by comfortable coach through the majestic Andes Mountain range and soak in breathtaking panoramic landscapes. Traveling parallel to the train tracks, you’ll stop at areas of interest along the way, such as the Chapel of Andahuaylillas, Raqchi or Temple of Wiracocha, Museum of Pukara and Complex of Kalassaya. Arrive to Puno and transfer to your hotel in Puno.

DAY 6: THE HIGHEST NAVIGABLE LAKE IN THE WORLD & UROS & TAQUILE ISLANDS. (B.L)

* Breakfast at the hotel. Depart from Puno and take a boat out to the islands and learn how the Uros built their floating homes entirely out of totora reeds and rope. Then, travel on to Taquile, an island untouched by the mainland’s modernity. The local inhabitants, known as Taquileños, still wear traditional clothing and are known for their high-quality handicrafts. While the women make yarn and weave, knitting is actually done exclusively by men. Enjoy a small lunch on Taquile before heading back to your Puno hotel.

DAY 7: PUNO TO CHIVAY TOWN IN COLCA VALLEY. (B)

Breakfast. Early in the morning, you will take a 5 hour transfer to Chivay, located in the Colca Valley. The road winds through the Pampa Cañahuas, where you might spot vicunas, llamas and alpacas. Once you arrive, you will be taken directly to your lodge, where you can relax. You might even want to try a warm soak in the thermal springs of La Calera.

DAY 8: COLCA CANYON & FLIGHT OF CONDORS. (B)

Early breakfast. You’ll leave early and drive to the Cruz del Condor, the perfect spot for catching sight of the giant Andean Condors riding the thermals over the spectacular canyon. Enjoy a short hike to peer into the Colca canyon. We will continue to the village of Cabanaconde, from where the view of the canyon and Andean farming terraces is even more amazing. On the return, you will stop to visit the Andean villages of Lari and Yanque and continue the trip to Arequipa.

DAY 9: THE WHITE CITY OF AREQUIPA. (B)

After breakfast at your hotel, take the three-hour Arequipa City Tour to visit the highlights of this city, which known as The White City because of its gleaming buildings made of white volcanic sillar stone. Arequipa was once an important city along the trade route between Lima and Santiago. Declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Arequipa has preserved much of its colonial architecture, including the Cathedral de San Francisco, La Compañia de Jesús Church, and the Santa Catalina Convent. On this tour, you will also visit Yanahuara, a neighborhood where you can walk down cobblestone streets and enjoy magnificent views of the city as well as three volcanoes, El Misti, Chachani, and Pichupichu. You will have a free afternoon to relax and walk along this beautiful city.

DAY 10: AREQUIPA TO LIMA. (B)

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for the flight to Lima (about an hour) and connect with your international flight.
