Itinerary
DAY 01: CAJAMARCA IN / CITY TOUR
Reception in the airport or bus station and transfer to the hotel.
City tour, visit the main square, the Church of St. Catalina of Alexandria (Cathedral), San Francisco Church (catacombs), Rescue room, Belen Church, Colonial hospital (Archaeological, Ethnographic and Medical Museum), the Cerro Santa Apolonia, the Inca Chair, natural view point of the city and valley of Cajamarca. Night in Cajamarca.
DAY 02: CUMBEMAYO / VENTANILLAS DE OTUZCO
We visit Bellavista the natural viewpoint, Layzón, Forest Park, Cumbemayo, where we find the famous forest of rocks or Fraylones, The Sanctuary, caves or shelters, the Stone of Sacrifice, ceremonial altars, petroglyphs (stone writing) Hydraulic Canal 3.000 years old and the aqueduct. Lunch. Enjoy the beauty of the Valley of Cajamarca and Chonta River, crossing the bridge, here you can ride a horse. Then visit the necropolis of Otuzco Windows (cemetery of Cajamarca culture), then, visit to the Giants Hydrangeas Garden, then tour to the Hacienda “Three Mills” and the Fundo “Alpes” where you can enjoy milk products and the cheese factory. Return to Cajamarca. Night in Cajamarca.
DAY 03: CAJAMARCA / OUT
Transfer to the airport or bus agency.
