Itinery
DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN LIMA PERU
Upon arrival at the International Airport in Lima, you’ll enjoy a warm reception and transfer to your hotel.
Optional: Half day tour of Ancestral, Colonial and Modern Lima.
DAY 2: LIMA TO ICA SANDBOARD & BUGGIES. (B)
Early bus to Ica, 5 hours trip.
Arrival to Ica.
In the afternoon is the best time for this tour, so you can appreciate the sunset from the dunes.
During this tour, you will have the chance to explore the beautiful and desolate landscapes of the desert, in a high-speed dune buggy. We will take you up and down the dunes, as if it was an off-roads rollercoaster.
Evening bus to Nazca. Overnight in Nazca.
DAY 3: NAZCA LINES FLIGHT & TRANSFER TO AREQUIPA. (B)
Transfer to the Nazca airport for a short overflight to see the famous Nazca Lines. The overflight includes sightings of 12 Nazca Lines, including the monkey, eagle, and astronaut.
After your Nazca Lines flight, you’ll take a comfortable coach for an eight hour journey along the south central region of Peru to the high altitude city of Arequipa.
DAY 4: THE WHITE CITY OF AREQUIPA. (B)
Half day tour to Arequipa city including visits to the Cathedral de San Francisco, La Compañía de Jesus Church, and the Santa Catalina Convent. On this tour, you will also visit Yanahuara and enjoy magnificent views of the city as well as three volcanoes.
DAY 5: AREQUIPA TO CHIVAY TOWN IN COLCA VALLEY. (B)
Early in the morning five hours bus to Chivay. Arrival and transfer to the hotel. You can visit “La Calera” hot springs”.
DAY 6: COLCA CANYON & FLIGHT OF CONDORS. (B).
Early breakfast. You’ll leave early and drive to the Cruz Del Condor, the perfect spot for catching sight of the giant Andean Condors riding the thermals over the spectacular canyon. Enjoy a short hike to peer into the Colca canyon. After free lunch we will take the bus to Puno for about four hour trip.
DAY 7: THE HIGHEST NAVIGABLE LAKE IN THE WORLD & UROS & TAQUILE ISLANDS. (B.L)
Full day tour to the Islands of Uros and Taquile on the highest navigable lake of the world: Lake Titicaca
DAY 8: BUS TRANSFER PUNO TO CUZCO. (B.L.)
Tourism bus to Cusco (8 hours trip), visiting on the way the pre Inca places of Andahuaylillas, Raqchi and Pukara.
DAY 9: ARRIVE IN CUZCO & CUZCO CITY TOUR. (B)
Free morning to relax. Afternoon City Tour. Visit to Cathedral, Koricancha or temple of the Sun, Sacsayhuamán, Q’enqo, Puca Pucara and Tambomach’ay.
DAY 10. SACRED RIVER AND VALLEY OF THE INCAS (B.L.)
Full day for Sacred Valley tour. Visit to Pisaq market, towns of Calca, Urubamba, Ollantaytambo fortress and Chinchero. Buffet lunch at Tunupa Restaurant and train to Aguas Calientes. Overnight in Aguas Calientes.
DAY 11: MACHUPICCHU TOUR (B)
Full day to Machupicchu in train and exploration of ruins. Train back to Cusco. Optional: Visit to Huaynapicchu.
DAY 12: CUZCO TO LIMA. (B)
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport for your flight to Lima and connect to your international flight. Optional: Free day in Cuzco or Arequipa. Ask for additional night.
