Day 1: Sunday 13th
Pick up from the airport and transfer to the hotel. Breefing.
At 12PM the group will meet for our welcome lunch.
At 1:30PM we will start our city tour of antique Cusco, including Haucaypata (Plaza de Armas), Qorikancha, Qusikancha, Tupac Yupanky, Hatunrumiyoc, Sapantiana, Manco Capac Temple and other unique areas of Cusco
At 6:30PM we will reconvene for dinner
At 8PM we will meet for an Archiastronomic exposition by Qosqocultura guide Andres Adasme Tapia
Day 2: Monday 14th
At 6AM we will set out for our Cusco ruins tour. Starting at Qenko, we will walk to Kusiyuchayoc and Laq’o
We will then return to Saqsaywaman before heading down to Cusco for lunch and the afternoon free
At 6PM we will have a presentation on Andean astronomy in Planetarium Cusco
At 8PM we will have dinner and discuss our various ideas on the presentation
Day 3: Tuesday 15th
At 7:30AM we will set out for our Sacred Valley ruins tour
Our first stop will be the Incan ruins of Pisaq
While driving through the beautiful Sacred Valley we will stop for a buffet lunch outside of Urubamba town
Early afternoon we will arrive at the ruins of Ollantaytambo
We will then explore the ancient town and have dinner
At 8:30PM we will board the night train to Aguas Calientes where we will spend the night
Day 4: Wednesday 16th
At 5AM we will wake up for the bus to Machu Picchu
At 1:30PM we will head back down to Aguas Calientes for lunch before boarding our train back to Cusco to check into our hotel and have dinner
Day 5: Thursday 17th
At 10AM we will leave for our southern ruins tour to Pikillacta, Racchi and Tipón
At Racchi we will have a picnic lunch
That evening we will return to Cusco for dinner
Day 6: Friday 18th
At 9AM we will start our art tour to the Museo de Arte Precolombino, Convento da la Merced and Inca Museum
We will then have lunch before heading out to Waro for the Museo de Piedras Símbolicas
This evening we will return to Cusco for our farewell dinner before we experience a ritual pago a la tierra
Day 7: Saturday 19th
You will have this morning free to finish exploring Cusco
At 12PM we will have our final lunch before your flight
