After she had studied for 5 years at the Andina University of Cusco - Peru she graduated as a Professional in Tourism Management in the areas of Travel agencies and Hotel Managment.

She is responsible for all overseas contacts and the administrative work.

With a huge experience working in the tourism industry for more than 15 years in the best Hotels of Cusco and Machupicchu like EL Pueblo Hotel - now Inkaterra - and important travel agencies of Peru, she finally set up, in 2000, her own travel agency in Cusco to work with our operators in all cities of Peru. She is also a good English speaker.

Karen:

Graduated from the Andina University of Cusco – Peru with 5 years of studies.

After her University studies she worked for about 4 years in a multinational company of Cruise ships in North America, acquiring great experience regarding customer service.

She's been working in “Sur Andes Tours” for about 9 years, always acquiring qualifications in “Tourism Companies Management” in Barcelona-Spain.

She has now the responsibility of all Incoming tours and logistics in all of Peru. She is a fluent English speaker and a praiseworthy French and Italian. She is now an expert “Travel Planner”.

Tour Guides:

Our tour guide staff is LICENSED and speak different languages, such as Spanish, English, Italian, Portugues, Japanese, German and French. All of them had studied, at least, 3 years in Universities of Cusco.

Over the years we have built up a professional team of guides, cooks, porters and horsemen as well as excellent camping equipment. By providing a relaxed and enjoyable working environment together with being able to provide constant work throughout the year Sur Andes Tours has been lucky enough to attract some of the best guides in Peru.
