Puerto Maldonado, capital of Madre de Dios, located close to Madre de Dios River.
The imposing forest that surrounds the Amazon is one of most fascinating of Peru.
First Day:
Reception and transfer to Tambopata River, 2 hours trip by motorized boat to Posada Amazonas Hotel, depending on the hour of arrival of the airplane we will have box on board lunch of the boat or in the Inn. During the trip we will see typical birds of the rivers of the forest. When arriving at the Inn we will receive one short direction on lodge and "The Ese'Eja Project of Ecoturism", if the time us allows we will embark in the evening in an activity, soon we will see a video about Tambopata. It has supper and It spends the night.
Second Day:
A.M. We will begin visiting to the Three Chimbadas lake in the middle of the lake. At 15 minutes of the Posada Amazonas in boat and 30 minutes walking we will arrive at the Costa Lake where we will give a walk. You will be able to appreciate other giant rivers, turtles, variety of birds. Return to the Lodge for the lunch.
P.M. We will make a long walk around the Posada Amazonas with a native one of the community. (Optional nocturnal long walk to see the amphibians and insects). Supper and spends the night.
Third Day:
After the breakfast we will visit a beautiful to the Guacamayos Collpa, parrots and Papagayos, located to 10 minutes walking, being able to photograph these wonderful birds. Tens and hundreds of these, are congregated in this place to feed themselves on clay. Lunch. We will visit some native earth knowing its agriculture and some problems fires in this place, for that reason we will understand the importance of the Ese'eja project. Supper and spends the night.
Fourth Day:
Return in boat towards the city of Puerto Maldonado and transfer to the airport.
